Meet Carly and Kasey

If you’re searching for an unforgettable place to capture your love, few options compare to Sedona’s breathtaking landscapes. As experienced Sedona engagement photographers, we’ve photographed couples throughout Arizona and know how to bring out the magic this red rock backdrop offers. Christina and Carlos’s sunrise session was the perfect example of that.

We met them at 5 a.m. at Lovers Knoll, a stunning overlook that offers expansive views of Cathedral Rock and Courthouse Butte. The soft morning light gave everything a warm, peaceful feel as the desert came to life around them. The trail to Lovers Knoll is short and accessible with a moderate incline — perfect for couples who want epic views without a long hike. Parking is available nearby, but because this is a popular viewpoint, we always recommend arriving early to avoid crowds and snag a spot.

After sunrise, we made our way to the romantic Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village, where colorful stucco walls, vine-covered balconies, and cobblestone alleyways created a warm and textured backdrop for their portraits. If you’re considering Tlaquepaque engagement photos, keep in mind that a permit and fee are required for professional photography sessions. You can find everything you need to know and request a permit directly here: Tlaquepaque Photography Permit Info.

What made this session stand out wasn’t just the setting — it was the connection between Christina and Carlos. Their connection felt effortless and honest, the kind of energy that makes storytelling easy. As seasoned destination photographers, we love capturing this kind of energy in Sedona — it’s the kind of place that invites presence and emotion.

We’re so excited to reunite with these two in December when they tie the knot at Hacienda Del Sol in Tucson. Until then, we’ll be swooning over their Sedona engagement session.
